spot where an annual visual extravaganza- the ‘Thrissur Pooram’ takes place in
God’s Own Country, Kerala,
is the sole Institute of Advanced
Study in Education of the state. Affiliated to the University of Calicut, this teacher training institution in
2020 will be celebrating 75years of its existence.
Accredited by NAAC with B+ IASE, Thrissur
offers BEd and MEd degree courses. Owing

However, a new website will soon be
launched by the Department of Collegiate Education, Government of Kerala bringing under one umbrella the websites of the government-run teacher
training colleges in the state.
This Blog is being launched as a
platform to connect with
interested alumni, teachers, researchers
and the general public. It is proposed to regularly upload news briefs of programmes being held in the
college.
