Preserving the differences in cultures and languages that
foster tolerance and respect for others is a mandate of the UNESCO. This has
prompted countries around the world to
celebrate 21 February as International Mother Language Day.
Ms.Mythili, of the Second Semester, BEd course
of the college, presented the thought on
‘Mother language’ during the special assembly held in the college. Ms
Nisha of the Fourth Semester MEd
course and Dr.Unnikrishnan, Assistant
Professor in Sanskrit responded.
The
special assembly concluded with a pledge intended to evoke a passionate love for Malayalam, the pride of every Malayalee.
