Living together
has the definite advantage of
fostering togetherness. With the motto, ‘Nurture the nature for our future’, the
Department of Forest in Thirssur
district, had been
permitting educational institutions
to visit Chimney Dam and the
neighbouring wild life sanctuary. The
staff convenor of the Community Living Camp for the
third year BEd students, Dr. Harinaryanan utilized the invitation and
organized the camp there. The camp was
inaugurated by

gained a firsthand experience
of living in pristine natural surroundings. They also
attended sessions organized by the
forest officials on the need to preserve nature and conserving natural resources.
