65.National Science Day

National Science Day is celebrated all over the country on 28^th February  every year, to mark the discovery of the Raman effect by Indian Physicist Sir C.V Raman on  the same day in  1928 .
The  students of the  Departments of Physical Science and  Natural Science jointly organized a programme to mark the occasion. They made a presentation on the 2019 theme- ‘Science for the people and people for Science’.

Ms Soundarya  (Physical Science), recalled the  contributions of great scientists. An awareness session on food adulteration  and the screening of a

documentary  also formed  part of the programme. The day’s programme concluded with reflections  by Ms Shihana P.S(Hindi) and Ms Greeshma.V.G (Natural science) and felicitation by Ms Jishna Jayan (Physical Science)
