146.October 31st



Rashtriya Ekta Diwas is observed on 31st October in India and is also known as National Unity Day. It commemorates the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, known as  the Iron Man of India who played an  important role in uniting India.

The day is also celebrated as National Rededication Day or Rashtriya Sankalp Diwas to pay homage to the first woman Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi who had worked dedicatedly to safeguard national integration of the country.
To mark the occasion a  special programme was  organized in the college auditorium.   An essay competition on the topic ‘United we stand, divided we fall’  and a Poster competition on the topic ‘Changing  Kerala’ was  also conducted .

Poster Competition:
First Prize –Natural Science
Second Prize-Mathematics
Third Prize –Physical Science and Hindi
