The students of IASE,
Thrissur visited Santhibhavan, India’s first Palliative Hospital, as part of a
programme organized by the Jeevani
Wellness Centre.
The CEO of Santhibhavan hospital Fr. Joy Kuthur interacted with
the students and briefed them about its functioning.
Santhibhavan is unique in that it doesn’t
have a Cash Counter and the services are
completely cashless. The students also interacted with the inmates of the hospital.
The students were
accompanied by Sri. Venugopal, Asst.Professor in Mathematics and the Counsellor
of Jeevani Centre, Ms. Naina Vincent.
